Governance

The membership of Las Barrancas Homeowners Association (LBHOA) consists of all owners of lots within Las Barrancas. LBHOA is a New Mexico nonprofit corporation governed by its founding documents, as well as policies and procedures subsequently adopted by the Board of Directors. Each year, LBHOA members vote on a slate of candidates for the Board of Directors. Once elected, a director may serve for an unlimited number of years.

 

The Board of Directors meets quarterly, with special meetings held as needed. The Board is responsible for the care and maintenance of all Common Areas within Las Barrancas and for enforcing the CC&Rs, along with the policies and procedures adopted in furtherance of them.

 

The Board carries out some of its work through various committees. The Board and all committees are composed entirely of volunteers; LBHOA has no paid staff.
